fanatics of Halloween or the second Halloween film did not like the 1982 picture Halloween 3. The point for this is because, unlike their forefathers, no murderer Michael Myers was seen.
John Carpenter, two of the executive producers of the Halloween film series, had hoped that with the release of Halloween 3: Season of the Witch, they would be able to kick off something that would eventually become an anthology of sorts, in which a new Halloween film, each of which would tell a different story, would be released around the time of the holiday annually. It was a fantastic concept, and I really wish they had been given the opportunity to develop it further. Unfortunately, that wasn't how things turned out to be.

While Halloween III: Season of the Witch contains a few brief scenes from the original Halloween, the film has no connection to Myers, Dr. Loomis, Laurie Strode, or Haddonfield. Regardless of how it differs from the original two installments, Halloween 3: Season of the Witch is a fun film in its own right.
The film isn't without flaw (it's unclear whether the reference to Stonehenge was intentional or not), but it has several memorable scenes, the best of which is one in which Cochran tests his devious plot on Buddy Kupfer, a salesperson who was given a personal tour of the manufacturing facility because he sold so several masks.
After being locked in a confined room, Little Buddy (Brad Schacter) puts on his Silver Shamrock mask and watches the Halloween television program. Needless to say, things quickly escalate, and the ensuing carnage is unforgettable. Conal Cochran offers us a history lesson on the actual origins of Halloween.
It's no secret that I like the Halloween franchise, particularly the flicks that followed Halloween III: Season of the Witch, all of which starred Michael Myers. However, one can't help but wonder what tales may have been included in the series if John Carpenter and Debra Hill had been able to stick to their original concept.
There is no fault on film moviegoers' side for not embracing Halloween 3: Season of the Witch. Instead, my fault lies with the person who decided to add the number "3" to the title.
I adored Halloween III, which makes Carpenter's outright misfire more difficult to take.
